What does it mean if a corporation is audited?
If a listed corporation is audited, that means the CEO sends financial documents and proof of assets, screenshots, to ERX auditors who then verify that the company value is correct and then there is no fraudulent behavior. If ERX auditors believe something is incorrect, they alert the Securities Exchange Commission, a US Government department of the Treasury, and their auditors then investigate further and determine the appropriate action.

What happens if a corporation goes bankrupt?
We keep a decent fund on hand to protect investors when corporations go bankrupt, but we will not be able to cover 100% of your investment, so make sure to research a company before you invest.

How do I begin investing?
Register for an account, and then click the "0 Gold" button on the lower left corner. Follow the instructions for depositing money into your ERX account. Once our employees complete the transaction, this usually takes a little less than 24 hours, you can begin investing Gold.

What happens to my money if I deposit it, but don't invest immediately?
Your Gold simply stays inside the "ERX Terminal" org in game. We never invest or spend you money.

Why do you charge trading fees?
Apart form using fees to discourage stock price manipulation we should mention that it takes a lot to keep ERX operating. We faced enormous startup costs and have to pay our employees who deal with deposits, withdrawals and auditing. We also maintain a fund to protect investors in case a corporation goes bankrupt. In order to do all this we have to charge a slight fee on each transaction.

Does my corporation have to do anything special to be listed?
No, not all. You can just sell Q1 Food and be listed at ERX, all that is required is that you register and while it isn't required, we recommend that you request to be audited as this will bring you more investors.

What are Org IDs?
These are the 3-6 digit numbers at the end of in-game org links that own assets (companies, gold). For example, http://www.erepublik.com/en/corporation/profile/1257892 has the Org ID "1257892".

How do you ensure against glitches/bugs?
While we spend a long time testing each feature before it is released on the live-site, we are only human and cannot guarantee that there won't be any problems. However, we take the security of our investors and the legitimacy of our exchange very seriously and will act immidiately to rectify any issues and take the necessary actions. To to do this, we perform an automated database backup every 15 minutes.

When are deposit/withdrawl/audit requests processed?
11:00-20:00 eRepublik Time.

Why don't you automate the deposits/withdrawls?
Not possible until the eRepublik API is fully released. Blame it on George Lemnaru.

Contact support or on IRC during business hours and you'll get assistance with the situation.

How are shares valued?
It's based on your corporation's value and the initial amount of stocks you issue (i.e. value = 5 gold, 5 stocks released, equals 1 gold per stock)

Are you hiring anyone?
It will be widely advertised via the corporation and the IRC channels when are hiring again.

How long does it take to get audited?
There is a 1-2 day wait on current audit requests due to pending backups. We will update this appropriately as we get through more of the backlog.

How are orgs valued?
According to their current assets (companies & curreny/gold). Company values are: Q1 = 20, Q2 = 40, Q3 = 90, Q4 = 190, Q5 = 390.
